The deluxe 4100 Series from GE is the most energy-efficient PTAC in the industry (EER up to 12.8). In addition the 4100 series features R-410A refrigerant which meets EPA requirements for the phase-out of ozone-depleting HCFCs. These models also feature digital controls, two fan motors for higher efficiency, electronic temperature limiting to reduce operating costs, and Heat and Freeze Sentinel technology which protects unoccupied rooms from excessive heat in the warmer months or freezing temperatures in winter.
