Heating and cooling temperatures can be controlled using GE's "Electronic Temperature Limiting" to conserve energy by preventing expensive overheating or overcooling of empty guest rooms. Cooling and heating limits are independently controlled so no seasonal adjustments are needed. GE's heat sentinel control automatically protects against overheating by switching on the unit to cool should an unoccupied room temperature exceed 85%. In contrast, GE Zoneline units are also equipped with freeze sentinel control to protect against damage caused by freezing temperatures in unoccupied guest rooms.
